I am a Real Estate Agent for Downtown Charleston and all neighborhoods on the Charleston Peninsula, a Lowcountry aficionado, somewhat of a techy-geek and foodie, an outdoor lover and bike enthusiast. You can find me at the lovely Real Estate Studio on King St in the heart of historic Charleston, right across from Brooks Brothers. If you want to know more about who I can be for you – whether you are interested in buying a home or selling one, check out the About You page.
I am excited about what I do now because I am great at finding people a home they love, and enjoy the challenge and creativity of selling a house. I revel in knowing as much as possible about Charleston and introducing her to others.
My former careers were in economic development, tech and bio-tech start-up company development, venture-capital financing, marketing, telecommunications, and software. Click kristinbwalker2009 if you’d really like to read my resume (prior to real estate). The most unique jobs I ever had were as a Pedicab Driver and Backroads Trip Leader in Italy.
I’ve lived in Charleston for a total of seven years – enough time to see extraordinary changes here and get to know each nook and cranny of this beautiful town and the homes in it. I have also lived all up and down the East Coast, and in the great countries of England, Italy and Texas. While I was born in Atlanta, I am the child of a New Yorker and a Minnesotan so I consider myself a bit of a mutt.
I speak Italian, some French, Spanish and a bit of “Ob” and “Jibberish” (the things you acquire as a child…)
I love writing, reading, biking, kayaking, hiking, yoga, cooking, travel and photography. Oh yes, and enjoying an evening glass of wine and conversation on the piazza with my darling husband.
