This just tickles me pink. A Charleston Moves colleague of mine pointed out that in the latest issue of Bicycling Magazine they have a blurb on Charleston, mentioning that here, Realtors show properties by bike!
That’s me! (And any of my company colleagues who feel so inclined and are qualified from a safety and knowledge standpoint.)
From the magazine….
Charleston, South Carolina
The city is known for graceful antebellum houses and Southern manners, but Charleston’s cycling culture is surprisingly rich. Real estate agents show properties by bike. The popular Taco Boy features dedicated bike racks out front. The elegant Planters Inn hosts cycling tours and the Vendue Inn lends out beach cruisers. Local club Coastal Cyclists leads daily rides that show off both the old and new South, taking in barrier islands, plantations, and greenways.
We use Electra Townie bikes which are easy to use and fun to ride for any level.
So next time you are visiting Charleston, or live here and want to go look for your new home by bike, just give me a shout or you can stop by my office at 214 King St, right in the heart of Historic Downtown Charleston.
