Downtown Christmas Light Delight – By Bike

Last night it was a balmy Charleston Eve, so my husband and I decided to take a little two-wheeled spin around the quiet streets of Downtown to take a look at the Christmas lights.  I don’t know about ya’ll, but seeing houses lit up always makes me happy, so I thought I’d share the holiday cheer with you.  🙂

Here’s wishing you and your family a fun and relaxing rest of 2011, and a marvelous New Year!

What a pretty way to dress up a Charleston Single

I love the flag and red bows on this one

What a lovely way to do up front facing double piazzas!

The Colonial Lake Christmas tree and the Sergeant Jasper star

Beautiful home on Rutledge Ave overlooking Colonial Lake

The 2 Meeting St Inn

The Cannon St fire station – love it!

And the piece de resistance – great spirit on Dunnemann Ave!

My young years were spent growing up on James Island and Charleston.
So reminds me of what Christmas in Charleston is. Missing my hometown.
Thank you for your bike ride pictures!

Mele Kalikimaka! (Hawaii’s way to say Merry Christmas!)
